Program Inquiry

Slippery Rock Parks and Recreation is looking to introduce a few new programs, yet we need your help! Please look over the following programs and fill out the form if you are interested in any of them. Once we gain some feedback, we will email those who have filled out the form with more information about said program.

NHL Street League Hockey (Youth)

NHL Street League was brought to our attention by a community member, and after discussing the possibilities, we would like to introduce the program to you! Children would learn the gameplay of hockey in a safe, fun, and energized environment. You can find more information at https://nhlstreet.com.

Fill out the form if your child would be interested in the Street Hockey League!

Retro Gaming

Retro Gaming is a program intended to give children a safe space to experience the origins of gaming. We would look at introducing different consoles, their origins, different games, and how we have modernized the gaming industry. SRPR will only select games that are ESRB Rated E+ or E10+ to ensure safety for the children, and each game is hand picked.

The program is looking to run 1-2 times a month (Saturdays) depending on interest and will be held at SRPR Recreation Center.

Children’s Art Gallery

SRPR would like to introduce a simulation of an art gallery for children. They would be able to submit art pieces over the winter months, and when weather breaks, we would hold a gallery to showcase their children’s art work for the community, friends, and family. It can be any medium as long as it is appropriate.
