Slippery Rock Parks and Recreation offers various programs and events for the community. Between pre-school and family activities, we have something for you!
School
Pre-K/FLF
Our pre-school programs are designated to help your child learn and become ready for kindergarten. They will learn social and emotional skills, as well as letters, numbers, and cooperative play.
Tiny Tots Playgroup
In Tiny Tots, children are introduced to structured, exciting play time. Children will work on social skills and sharing in a caring environment.
Playsafe
Need help with your children afterwork? Register them in Playsafe! A recreational and care program for your child right at school! Please read the Parent Information packet upon registration.
Sports
Hoop Heroes
Gain or refine your basketball skills with Hoop Heroes! Skills/drills, ball handling, and various other skills will be on Mondays, with game days on Wednesdays! REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
Gymnastics
Gymnastics is back for spring sessions! Find which class is right for you and develop/advance your gymnastic skills!
Swim Lessons
Learn how to swim or improve your skills with our swim lessons! We are now offering Water Babies as a class, so choose your class that is best fit!
Family Activities
Father/Daughter Dance
Join us for an evening of fun and dancing with your daughter! With refreshments, snacks, and music, you can spend a special evening with your daughter, on us!
Mother/Son Carnival
In need of mother/son time? Come to the carnival! Spend the evening with your son doing various games and activities. Refreshments included.
Breakfast with the easter bunny
Join us for breakfast to meet the Easter Bunny, as well as some activities. The fee only applies to those who are eating. If you want to attend without eating, then the fee does not apply.
